The Barn is a large holiday cottage with a shared outdoor swimming pool (open from April to September). The Barn offers a sanctuary of calm, immersed in nature, inspiring clarity.
Ideal for retreats, corporate events, staff trips, large groups and family holidays.
The Barn is our largest holiday cottage for hire, with bright, flexible spaces for gathering, eating and relaxing. The 10 ensuite rooms are accessed from a beautiful courtyard and sleep up to 22 in total. Plus, it is dog-friendly, so no need to leave your four-legged friend behind.
There is a large kitchen, dining area and lounge, as well as a separate space that can be used as a games room or studio. The Barn has a lovely outdoor space with seating, complete with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and star gazing.
From April to September, you will also have access to our shared outdoor heated swimming pool.
West Lexham offers 22 acres of garden walks, lawns, a boating lake, a swimming pool, a tennis court and fire circles, as well as tree houses and bell tents, so you can enjoy reconnecting with nature during your barn retreat.

Separated from the studio by bi-folding doors is an inviting living area complete with 2 log-burning stoves, ideal for winding down after class.
The dining area has a double-height ceiling with doors opening onto the garden, a welcoming start to each day.

The private garden is surrounded by trees with a luscious lawn, perfect for a morning class in summer. There’s also a fire bowl for gathering beneath the moon.
