Quercus is perfect for friends and families, sleeping up to six. Enjoy the woodland luxury of an en suite bathroom with a steaming hot shower, central heating and a fully-equipped kitchen. Each of the beds can be made up as king size, twins or day beds - just let us know your preference! On your private tree top terrace you'll find a gas BBQ and picnic table.
Quercus and Tilia are sister treehouses and follow the same open-plan design, both filled with unique character and charm. The sisters get their names from the majestic trees that surround them.
Quercus is tucked away in its own little wood. Its south facing deck is accessed across a treetop bridge where you stand eye to eye with the other residents - the birds and squirrels.
In true West Lexham style everything, but the kitchen sink is hand made. The beds in Quercus tree house have been hewn out of green hazel to make the funkiest four posters that you will have ever seen. They can move together to make three super king sized beds or move into six twins. These can also be made up as day beds to give plenty of lounging room. Climb the rustic staircase to the mezzanine for a true adventure in lying back in the tree tops.
While we have put in a fridge, kettle and toaster we thought that if you are staying in a treehouse you really should be cooking with fire. So when you stoke up the log stove and get cosy by the fire side you can also cook on the hobs and in the full sized oven. This is the ultimate glamping holiday experience! Enjoy your meal on the round table inside or on the covered deck looking into the canopy and watching the clouds roll by. The kitchen is fully equipped all the pans, crockery, cutlery, implements, glasses and mugs that you could need.
“What a brilliant few days staying in Quercus Tree House! Excellent accommodation – quirky, imaginative but luxurious! Fantastic staff and wonderful venue – so peaceful – love this place!”. Bernie & Helen
Well behaved dogs are welcome to join you on your Tree House adventure. Please make sure poop is scooped and they don't get too cosy on the beds. There is a £25 fee for each fluffy friend to cover the specialist allergen cleaning after your stay.
Take a stroll around the garden, row a boat down the lake, or gaze up at the stars and toast marshmallows around the huge camp fire. We are near the beach and countless other exciting local attractions.
When you stay at West Lexham you are part of something bigger than simply an eco holiday. It is an experiment in living and re-acquainting ourselves with nature. An open hearted approach, turning sustainability into thriveabilty as we experience how wonderful life can be. More about us.

" We would just like to say thank you for the lovely time that we had at Quercus tree house. Thank you for kindly upgrading us! We had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed our time away in our tree house. Even though we were a bit noisy! The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was lovely. I have back and head injuries and it was the first holiday I have had in four years because of a car accident. The cooker was fabulous and efficient and very warm. The facilities and setting is beautiful and we had an absolutely great time away. Thankyou. We will be booking again and recommending you to everyone!" Agatha
