Folk Choir 2011

 

Traditionally folk music was passed on aurally and this course is no exception. Explore your voice and find out what it will do. Tune in your ear and learn how to harmonise as a group.

This course is run over four weeks (August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd) culminating in an opportunity to show off your new found skills at a free Folk session on the 24th August, where you and other singers and artists will get together to share in your passion for music.

Reboot_ Camp

 

Reboot is a social design lab that invests in people who want to improve livelihood – together. Bringing eclectic teams to refreshing spaces, we share insights and unleash our creativity to do some good.  

Reboot_ Camp is a two-day immersive retreat set in Norfolk’s West Lexham.  No computers or smartphones permitted, it is an opportunity to unplug from the digital world and the everyday routine.  It is a chance to generate social impact while connecting with new people and to nature.  Participants can also enjoy collective cooking, boating, hiking, swimming, games, creativity workouts, and engaging conversation fueled by late night campfires.

The Secret of Simple Pies

 

Set in the beautiful outdoor kitchen at West Lexham, this workshop is set to teach you the culinary delight that is the Pork pie. You will learn how to make authentic jelly stock, pastry and filling to a slightly adapted eight hundred year old recipe.

The course lasts one full day and costs £125.

Accommodation is available for those wishing to make those most of the surrounding countryside as well as the wonderful facilities available within the Manor itself.
