The home of the Colville family who have worked tirelessly to bring the heritage farm buildings back to life for all to enjoy, West Lexham Manor has been the historic heart of a community working closely with the land. There has always been a farm and a family at West Lexham. The estate formed part of the famous Holkham Estate which stretches to the stunning Norfolk coast, only a short drive away.
Now we are bringing to life a new vision for the estate that supports everyone involved to thrive and follow their passions in service of something bigger than all of us. Step into a dream made reality, living with a deeper connection to nature, to ourselves and to each other. We are bringing to life our personal visions for a bright future and a more sustainable way of living and working and we’d love to share it with you!
Community is at the heart of how we do things at West Lexham – both as a team on site and out and about in the beautiful Brecklands. We are getting to know our local community and how we can best support each other to thrive - from bringing in skilled local ecobuilders to build tree houses and hopper huts alongside working holiday volunteers and young apprentices from around the world - to providing a learning resource for the wider community in the form of our organic market gardens, and eco-friendly infrastructures as well as place for creativity, fun and spending time unwinding together in the outdoors.
