If you are looking for a zesty alternative to a staid hotel venue for a team away day, a magical idyll for a workshop or retreat, or somewhere to host a get-together, West Lexham has a growing collection of inspiring venue spaces to hire in a beautiful rural Norfolk setting. We can accommodate groups of up to 35 in winter and 80+ in the summer months. Both daytime and residential events are welcome, and venue hire includes access to all facilities such as the swimming pool, boating lake and grounds.

The Studio
...airy, bright workspace for courses, conferences, yoga, meditation...
The Studio is our main workshop and meeting room for 2011 events and has a capacity of 150 standing or 80 seated. 13x8m meeting/events space with parque floor, wooden ceiling, double glazing, open log fire. Includes 5 x 5m entrance hall with two toilets.
The Studio offers an airy but cosy space for special events, meetings, dinners and workshops. It can be furnished with sofas for a comfy and casual feel, or with rows of chairs for a lecture, or with tables and chairs for workshops. It works very well for yoga or dance groups and other activities which need a warm but spacious studio.
The Studio has played host to executive strategy retreats, yoga classes, a folk choir, fundraising events and open days in this flexible and welcoming space.
Rates for hire of the venue
West Lexham can accommodate groups of up to 35 in winter and 80+ in the summer months.
We hire the venue out to groups at a daily rate per person. This can either be:
- fully inclusive - price per day includes accommodation of your choice, buffet breakfast, two course lunch and dinner, plus hire of the Studio workspace.
- self-catered - price per day includes accommodation of your choice plus hire of the Studio workspace, but you cater for yourselves or bring your own caterer.
Our minimum group size for weekend venue hire is 10 people, but we are able to accommodate smaller groups on weekdays. Please contact us to discuss your needs. Likewise over weekends the minimum hire period is 2 days, but we can accommodate day hire groups Mon-Fri.
If you are planning to hire the venue for a group of 30 or more please contact us to discuss your needs and our rates for bigger groups. We will be happy to talk you through the different options for accommodation, meals and workspaces and to show you around the space.

Catering
We work with excellent local caterers who are passionate about local food and delivering fresh, delicious, wholesome meals at reasonable prices. The daily rates quoted here include a buffet breakfast, two course lunch and two course hot dinner, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day.
If you would like a more sumptuous feast or have a particular menu or type of food in mind we'd be happy to put you in touch with our caterers to discuss your needs and come up with a menu that's perfect for your event.

The Tree House
Our beautiful, octagonal timber framed Tree House is furnished with a double bed and bedroom furniture with windows on all sides. A night in the treehouse is a magical retreat into the tranquility of nature. Fall asleep between Egyptian Cotton sheets, with the trees all around you and your own private verandah looking out over gently undulating countryside.
The Manor House
The Grade II listed manor house offers luxurious twin or double rooms, all with en suite and plenty of period charm. Open the shutters in the morning to let the sun stream in and soak up views of the lake and gardens.
