What was the best thing about your time at West Lexham?
"Every time I come back to London from West Lexham I feel completely refreshed from my London life. It is always totally epic, whether we end up making furniture, taking walks on the beach, murder mysteries or playing croquet on the lawn, I always have magical and long lasting memories to come back with."
Daniel, Friends of the Earth, February 2012
"Wonderful sense of freedom and relaxation amongst beautiful and interesting surroundings. This was the first time my children have been camping or glamping and they really enjoyed a wonderful experience."
Jacqueline, Glamper, August 2011
“There are lots of things. The contact with nature, A “different” way of camping (you don’t feel that you are camping, just relaxing) and also all the surprises I had every time I look to a new place. When you are not expecting it you find a beautiful detail in the decoration, kitchen, tree house, food. I think everyone should have at least a weekend here to recover energies and reboot."
Gabi, Rebooter, August 2011
"A great place to unwind and spend time with your family."

“Being here was a wonderful adventure of stepping away from the frenzy and the everyday worries and getting in touch with myself, great people, great dieas and new ways of doing things. Thanks to Tony’s wonderful treats the body got nourished as much as the mind.”
Valentina, Rebooter, August 2011
"The sense of joy and love that has gone into creating this space, reflected in guests and staff alike. Loved the Nook!"
Rosanna, Indoor Camper, August 2011
“The atmosphere: the surroundings, facilities, staff, piggery, food, just the sum of the parts. Feeling of being transported somewhere truly separate from the normal world!”
Heli, Rebooter, August 2011
"I really liked the combination of luxury (memory foam mattress, nice tent and showers) and the individual personality of the place. A lot of the time you either get a luxury hotel room, but it's very anonymous, or somewhere more personal, like a hostel, but there's no luxury. This was a great balance between the two.
In a similar vein, I liked the fact that the tents were set in the grounds of a really beautiful house, with all the facilities like tennis courts and swimming, but none of the stuffiness. There was an eco friendly approach (lovely smelling hand soap!) but it didn't feel preachy.
The décor was a major plus. It was ingenious, I never expected to see teaspoons in a walkway! The lighting and use of natural materials was really pretty. It felt a bit like staying in an Antony Gormley sculpture park. The people I met were lovely too. I was only a few hours from home, but it felt like I was back on my gap year."

"We arrived here not really knowing what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised by the outdoor facilities. There was clearly alot of effort and creativity that went into it. Lovely staff made us feel very welcome."
"The whole camping experience was amazing, everyone was extemely friendly and laid back, and our entire trip was so relaxing! Best camping ever."
"I have loved my stay at West Lexham, the open and friendly atmosphere suits the relaxed and exciting feeling you get when you arrive. The tent is ready and everything you possibly need is in the kitchen and across the many acres! Most of all the people that contribute to West Lexham- they set the standard of the open, happy camper vibe! An eye-opener to what is important in life"
